Autumn Fox Baiting
Description
Gunning District Landcare’s Group Fox Baiting Autumn 2018 |
Feral animal management requires commitment and a collaborative approach. Group control programs have proven to reduce feral populations over broad areas with more sustainable outcomes.
Foxes impact farm production and the environment:
- They predate on native mammals, reptiles, birds and insects,
- Predate on lambs and calves,
- Predate on chickens and other domestic pets such as guinea pigs and aviary birds,
- They carry diseases that are transmissible to dogs and humans such as sarcoptic mange, hydatids and leptospirosis
By joining the Feral Fighters campaign, you are making a commitment to your neighbors, community, local industries and the environment.
Register to become a Feral Fighter and receive:
- Free vertebrate pesticide training, including Canid Pest Ejectors
- The first 40 1080 baits are free to Feral Fighters during the 2017 autumn campaign (this includes meat, CPE capsules and manufactured 1080 baits)
- Delivery of baits to a convenient location near you
- Up-to-date information and support from South East Local Land
